I have gone through the book. It covers the whole syllabus of B Sc course as per CBCS. Also it covers part of M Sc syllabus. Although not comprehensive, it is rich in Physics. I am sure the readers especially students pursuing undergraduate course majoring Physics will surely be benefited. To accommodate the present needs of the students, a revision of the book is required with inclusions of (i) to the point approach and (ii) short answer question as well as MCQs based on the questions of different competitive exams in India. For references I would like to mention two popular books (i) Nuclear and Particle Physics by Mittal et al (Prentice Hall of India) and (ii) Nuclear and Particle Physics by A B Gupta (Books and Allied, Kolkata). For the completeness, a list of references and an Subject Index at the end of book need to be included.
